NON-SURGICAL BROW LIFT
An ideal height and arch to the eyebrow have profound effects upon the forehead, brow and eyes.
An arch to the brow is one of the distinguishing characteristics between men and women. A flat brow is not just masculine, but it can give the impression of anger or intensity. People elevate their brow in an effort to appear calm and approachable, and restoring that arch creates wonders in both objective appearance and in the emotions conveyed.
When a brow is low, the eyes look tired and excess skin can be present in the crow’s feet area. When the brow is in the ideal position, the entire upper eyelid looks better and any hanging skin at the sides of the corners of the eyelids will be reduced.
When the brows are low, the body automatically compensates by using the forehead muscles to raise the brows. The result is horizontal lines across the forehead. Once the forehead no longer has to raise the brow, these lines improve.
The facelift’s reputation for making someone look like they are staring is actually undeserved. The “deer in headlights” look is due to a brow that has been overly elevated. The goal of a browlift is always to elevate the tail of the brow, but the tail must always be elevated more than the central brow. This undesirable appearance is created when the central brow is too elevated.
The goal of the brow lift procedure is never to just make a brow high; brow elevation is only important insofar as it makes the patient more attractive and Dr. Young excels at looking at the total picture in order to make his patients look superb.
